In 2013, the BAnQ's Cultural Programming Department mandated La bande à Paul’s designers to help them develop and produce of a temporary exhibition for children around the theme of philosophy. The exhibition, which was to serve as an initiation to philosophy for young people aged 8 to 12, was designed for the Grande Bibliothèque‘s Espace Jeunes.

Together with the BAnQ’s exhibition team, we created the Philo experience as a circuit wherein various content is offered through interactive games. Each station asked young visitors a question, inviting them to choose a move or action to express their opinion on a given subject. The tour featured ten stations that were integrated into the Espace Jeunes in a variety of ways, including at the reception desk, on glass surfaces, through elevator décor, via listening stations... Four existing libraries were given a makeover and set up with cushioned niches to create cozy, brightly coloured spaces more conducive to reflection and introspection.
