Bonnallie Pavilion | Parc national du Mont-Orford

As part of this project, La bande à Paul was mandated to create the exhibition spaces of two new pavilions in Parc national du Mont-Orford. The spaces in question showcase the park's flagship elements: Mount Orford, the Eastern hills surrounding it and the area’s hydrographic network. The intention was to address the chosen themes (fauna, flora, geography) using a poetic and sensory approach to inspire the visitor to discover the park’s nature in person.

Taking into account the contemporary architectural style of the Bonnallie Pavilion, designed by Anne Carrier Architecture, our team created a suspended sculptural piece that evoked the park’s key elements. The origami-like piece features inspiring duotone images of the park. The sculpture enhances the space’s volume and harmonizes with the superb view of Stukely Lake. Custom-made Adirondack chairs complete the design.

The Le Cerisier pavilion, currently being designed, will host a large-scale model of the park and interactive terminals on its flora and fauna. A trail specially designed for children was also developed, and its stations will be set up throughout the building.
